- Explore this palm paradise in your 4x4 (no beach driving)
- Take a day trip to Inhambane - Explore the market, buy fresh fish and prawns - park at Stop Restaurant on the Maxixe side and take a dhow trip to Paradise Island (Mtn 2500.00 for the dhow) or catch the ferry across the bay to Inhambane.
- Explore Pomene -70kms - this takes about 2 hours to drive to Pomene Lodge from Morrungulo Bay (sand/gravel road) and a 4x4 is recommended for the trip. Visit the lodge, enjoy the fantastic restaurant location, fish in the estuary or while away the day in the infinity pool with a cocktail from the adjacent bar.
Pomene is well known as an excellent fishing area.
